Left: Adam and Amy's Engagement Ring
Ceylon Sapphire and Diamonds in White Gold and Mokume Gane
Adam came to me to commission an engagement ring for his girlfriend Amy with some great ideas in mind. He wanted a sapphire and white gold mokume gane (Japanese wood grain metal). I ordered in a selection of sapphires and he chose a sensational mid-blue oval stone. As a final touch, I suggested we add some little pressure-set diamonds into the mokume gane band; sparkling droplets amongst the wavy pattern of the unique metal.
Middle: Tim and Fiona's Engagement Ring
Australian Sapphire in White Gold
One of the very first engagement rings I ever made. Tim and Fiona came to me together with a pretty clear idea of what they wanted to create. They described their dream ring to me and I sketched up a rough drawing, refining the idea into reality. I sourced the gorgeous dark blue Australian sapphire and handcrafted the unique channel set design in solid white gold.
Right: Karin's Bubble Ring
Ceylon Sapphires in White Gold
Karin had a dream of a ring with Ceylon sapphires in an array of different size and shades of blue. Lucky for her, I was able to hand-pick the gems on a trip to Sri Lanka. We set the bubbly arrangement in white gold bezel settings over the top a wide ring band, handcrafted in white gold.
