Diamond Engagement Rings

Left: Rick and Tamsin's Engagement Ring
Platinum and Diamonds

Rick hand-picked a sensational sparkling diamond from my personal collection. We worked together on the design running through each element until we had built the perfect design for the bride-to-be. We decided to CAD print the design in order to achieve absolute perfection in the curvatious half-bezel central setting we had designed. The ring was then cast in solid (and heavy!) platinum and hand-finished and set.

Solitaire Diamond in White Gold

Nathan gave me the brief of "simple and symmetrical with soft flowing lines". I put forward a few options and this was the definite winner. I handcrafted this ring in solid white gold with a bezel set diamond.

Right: Claudia's Bridal Set from Derryn
White gold and Diamonds

Derryn had no idea where to start, so I began by guiding him through options of different cut diamonds. I was excited that he deviated from the norm and chose a tear-drop shaped "pear cut" diamond. I handcrafted the ring in white gold, surrounding the central stone with a sparking halo of smaller round brilliant cut diamonds. When it came time for the wedding ring, Claudia chose a fitted wedding ring around the pointed side of the engagement ring, creating a gorgeous tiara effect.
